Hydrophobic Concrete is a modern, ready-to-use decorative silicone plaster that imitates the look of concrete while providing exceptional resistance to water and moisture. Built on a new-generation blend of silicone and acrylic resins with surface hydrophobising agents and a fibre-reinforced structure, it is ideal for rooms with elevated humidity such as bathrooms and kitchens, and can even be applied over ceramic tiles and in wet zones such as showers.
Thanks to its hydrophobic properties it is also well suited to exteriors, including building facades and fences, resisting weathering factors such as rain, frost and UV radiation. The finish is durable and requires no additional protective coating.
The product is available in white and grey (base colour) and can be tinted with the Fox Dekorator pigment system to achieve the desired shade.

Application technique
Step-by-step application
Prepare the substrate: stable, dry, clean and degreased, then prime with Bonding Primer or Bonding Primer Strong (can also be applied over old ceramic tiles).
Stir the product to a uniform consistency before use; do not dilute or thicken.
Apply the first coat smoothly with a stainless steel trowel to grain thickness and leave to dry.
Once the first coat has set (approx. 2–4 hours, depending on room climate), apply the second coat over the whole surface, scraping off excess material and levelling.
While drying, smooth the plaster with the flat edge of the trowel, keeping the blade perfectly clean.
